The Geo Trio is an instrumental band that sources ideas from diverse musical ecosystems to create a unique listening experience.  They make music that is simultaneously funky, country, prog-rocky, and jazzy.

They also branch out into a lot of side projects, including expanding to a 13-piece band that covers movie soundtracks and a quartet that plays video game music (old school and current).
